Our paper is handmade in our papermaking space located in Cluj Napoca, in the heart of Transylvania. We try to follow the medieval manufacturing method closely, therefore we use pulp from fir cellulose and natural solvents, we do not use synthetic fibers or recycled paper. Each sheet is formed individually using a traditional mould and deckle; therefore, each sheet has rough, deckled edges on all sides. Each newly formed sheet is placed on a felt, then the stack of wet paper is pressed in a hydraulic press and put to dry. We color the pulp only with pigments that have excellent lightfastness properties, so that our paper does not fade in sunlight. Moreover, the paper is treated to not absorb ink later. Both the material and the techniques used ensure the longevity and strength of our paper.

Our paper is ideal for printing, drawing, painting, calligraphy, photography, and any other activity for which handmade paper is desired. The paper can be sized on request or left with rough edges.
